а как часто говорят removal from service? is it popular? decommissioning - is more taking out of service at the end of lifetime in my case it is not necessarily so |

| Yes. YOu're right regarding the decommissioning is at the end of life time or due to malfunction. But I would still prefer 'decommission' over 'removal from service' since the latter sounds awkward. |
