ok, i am going to say what is said to me often: maybe you shouldn't be translating this document? and maybe just tell whoever it is you are doing it for that it is too hard for you?
and i am not saying this to be rude. this is solid advice. don't take what you can't do.

I understand. it is advice for the future. don't be upset. I just know how it can be. I am constantly asked to translate things from eng to rus which i have no business translating. recently, i told them to stuff a Charter you know where telling them that it is far beyond my capabilities and that they should find someone who can do it and do it well. They appreciated the honesty but were of course not thrilled with my refusal.

and as far as i can tell, the russian looks fine, but i really cant say, not being Russian.

Nina79, my ambition is to learn how to translate different kinds of documents with different levels of difficuty but i need practice so i ask people who have such one to help me. i appreciate your advice and time

Oh I understand learning. But as I have learned, learning new topics is to be done in your spare time and not for money. Once you learn it, do it for money.
I myself am working on improving myself, but I am not going to take a company's Charter and try to write it in Russian until I am much better at that kind of thing.

Good luck in the search for knowledge! (Just remember one thing - quality should never suffer just becasue you want to boost your qualifications. :))
