The standard identity definition of a track, object or entity declared to belong to any opposing nation, party or group which, by virtue of its behaviour or information gathered on it such as characteristics, origin or nationality contributes to the threat to friendly forces. 2. NATO In identification, the designation given to a track, object or entity whose characteristics, behaviour or origin indicate that it is a threat to friendly forces.
