remove (To take out objects from a list, database, or other item, or to uninstall a program); dismiss (To reject or turn off a system notification such as a reminder, a new message alert or an alarm); drop (To remove an association or connection); discard (To remove something); delete (To eliminate text, a file, or part of a document with the intention of removing the information permanently); pruning (A process that removes unavailable printers from Active Directory.
