A combination of procedures and operations coordinated in terms of objective, task, time and place for detecting enemy electronic systems, destroying them using weapons of all types, capturing them or rendering them inoperable, jamming and using countermeasures to protect friendly electronic systems and equipment. Electronic warfare is a type of operational or tactical support aimed at disorganizing enemy command and control systems, reducing the effectiveness of enemy reconnaissance and intelligence-collection and diminishing the effectiveness of his weapons and equipment, while maintaining the reliability of the command and control systems of friendly forces and weapons.
