Hebrew Engish Question - my apologies!

I apologize for asking a wrong language question, but am at complete loss.

The word "oblivion/zabvenie" in Hebrew sounds like Sheshikha (שִׁכחָה)
and I need to know how to TRANSLITERATE it properly in English

Also, the Hebrew word for Darkness/Temnota that sounds like Khashikha - I need a correct English transliteration.

Can anyone help? Thank you so much!

Thank you. Not really helpful as I'm uncertain of the words in Hebrew letters. I received the Russian transliteration, they found the words in a Hebrew dictionary (with sound approximation), so need a Hebrew speaker to help. Thanks anyway!!!

забвение звучит как "шихэхА"

following Common Israeli transliteration system from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Romanization_of_Hebrew
into English it would transliterate as "shikheħa"
I chose this system due to differentiation it makes between the consonants כ and ח
but although in ancient Hebrew they indeed sounded differently, and still do in the language of jews coming from Arabic countries, this is not the norm in the modern language
so if you need to know how the word sounds in modern Hebrew, the more accurate transliteration will look like "shikhekha", the emphasis is on the last syllable

и такая транлитерация мне не нравится потому что она вводит в заблуждение иностранцев, англичане сh прочтут как "ч", французы как "ш"
например Chevron, это что, Шеврон или Хеврон?

Хеврон по-английский Hebron.
Если читатель не впервые читает еврейские тексты, то он не будет введет в заблуждение. Нравится - не нравится, а традиция сложилась.
