Поджимают сроки

Добрый день! Помогите перевести данную фразу: "... Как обычно, наши покупатели тянули время с заказом, а теперь их поджимают сроки, поэтому продукция, как обычно, нужна нам в самое ближайшее время."
Хотелось бы чтоб это звучало вежливо, но дало понять что надо поторопиться.

We have but little time to spare/we cannot afford to waste time/procrastinate further ahead of the looming deadline.
