Subject: британские реалии Cinderella’s Добрый вечер!Столкнулась с переводом двух коротких рекламок: Capital Radio: "Get your Party in the Park tickets now on 0870 123456" Cinderella’s: "Get into Cinderella's free before 11pm and Archers 50p per shot on Thursdays". Кто-нибудь, знакомый с реалиями Великобритании, помогите, пожалуйста! |
It's a common name for bottom-of the range nightclubs, 2-Aftershocks-for-the-price of-1-before-11, meat-market, are-you-looking-at-my -bird sort of places. I thought they were a chain but can't find anything on Google, although 'cinderella's nightclub' throws up a lot of results, mainly news reports about stabbings and fights.... |
thursday is just really cheap day for clubbing. Usually they rent it for sexual or ethnical minorities on this day. or let cheap drinks --- like 50 pence per shot. But tooooo cheap --- may be advert is toooo old? |

Ну, вот и отлично. |
Adverts are really old, but it is not impotant. Thank u. And what about the first ad? Capital Radio: "Get your Party in the Park tickets now on 0870 123456" |
That's a daytime concert in London: Capital radio is London's top commercial cheesy tunes station, and Party in the Park is a daytime concert they put on every summer, with commercial pop bands playing in a park |
Thank u! You have helped me greatly! |
