'Door ramming' event: A Chinese tradition where the bride was allegorically held ransom by a bunch of her girl cronies, and the groom (together with his phalanx of guy cronies) are required to go through a series of debilitating (often humiliating) stunt/request/task, before he is allowed to pick up the bride.
