Subject: geology and valuation standards geol. Turning to the technicians and geologists:Talking about minerals, valuation of mineral deposits by a competent person, etc… these are terms listed in the definitions included in the guidelines for valuating a deposit. Some of the terms appear on MT but I am unsure if they are the ones I really need or if there is something better or more appropriate. If someone wants more context, I can give it, of course. Qualified person Thanks so much for the help! PS. If anyone knows some good on-line sources (Russ or Eng) which describe the actual process of gravity and flotation extraction techniques, that would be really useful and truly appreciated. |

Qualified person and Qualified valuator are especially troubling to me. I know that for qualified person there must be a term used within the industry and not what is on MT Лицо, удовлетворяющее установленным требованиям. MT's answer just seems like it can't be it. And qualified valuator, is it really just квалифицированный оценщик/эксперт? |

ALSO, reasonableness?? Reasonableness, in reference to the Valuation of a Mineral Property, means that other appropriately qualified and experienced valuators with access to the same information would value the property at approximately the same range. A Reasonableness test serves to identify Valuations which may be out of step with industry standards and industry norms. 1. Опоискованный участок = exploration property - нет указания на то, что разведка (а не поиски!!!), уже завершена 2. Участок поисково-оценочных работ = mineral resource property - здесь нет указания на посково-оценочные работы (appraisal) 3. Участок, вовлеченный в освоение по результатам разведки = development property - есть указание только на то, что участок находится в стадии разработки 4. Разрабатываемый участок = production property - есть указание только на то, что участок уже эксплуатируется (ведется добыча) Исходя из вашего контекста, замена "месторождения" не "участок" вполне оправдана. |
