В работе с отчетами и бух.программами to drill down означает "делать выборку", "выгонять отчет", "тянуть данные" из какой-либо базы данных... Дословно означает как бы "забуриться" в какие-либо данные, и на их основе получить какие-то сведения, твблицы...

Such items subject to drill-down entry and matching primarily include intra-Group sales, purchases, interest income and expenses, as well as intra-Group receivables and debts on the balance sheet (compare the ‘P’ column for drill-down on the Excel chart of accounts).
