Пожалуйста, помогите грамотно перевести притчу (я боюсь, что если буду переводить самостоятельно, то меня не поймут): "Человек шёл. Шёл долго по пустой земле. Иногда он оборачивался и видел за собой две цепочки следов. И знал он, что Бог идёт с ним рядом... Но дорога была всё труднее. И всё тяжелее груз. И пустыня страшила человека... И потом он упал. Но смог встать и идти дальше. Когда он обернулся, он увидел, что цепочка следов только одна. "Бог, почему ты оставил меня, когда я упал?" - "Я не оставил тебя. Я нес тебя на руках"". Заранее спасибо.

Зачем тогда притчи переводить?

У меня дома это есть на инглиш - оригинал. Если до завтра терпит - найду. Очень красивая притча.

Только там немного не так - человеку приснился сон, что он идет по пляжу рядом с Богом, на небе перед ними, как на пустом экране встают эпизоды его жизни. И вот возникает изображение самого трудного момента, человек оборачивается и..... далее по тексту.

а мне любой вариант, только желательно сегодня. А с английским у меня дейсвительно сложно. Разговаривать могу свободно, но исключительно в Present Simple, Past Simple и Future Simple. Словарный запас нормальный, а грамматика хромает на обе ноги. С письмами, сами понимаете, мне тяжело. Поэтому, если хочу, чтобы меня обязательно правильно поняли, никогда не рискую переводить сама или с помощью электронных переводчиков.

One night I had a dream…
Dreamt I was walking on the beach with The Lord, and passed scenes of my life through the sky. For each scene , I realized there were two pairs of footprints in the sand; one was mine and the other was my Lord’s.

When the last scene passed in front of me, I looked behind, for the footprints in the sand, and noticed that many times, during the path there was only one pair of footprints. I also noticed this happened during the most difficult and annoying times of my life.

It disturbed me, so I asked my Lord:
“Lord, you told me that since I decided to follow you, you would always walk by me the whole path, but I noticed that during my biggest life troubles, there was only one pair of footprints in the sand . I don’t understand why during the hours I needed you the most, you left me by myself”.

The Lord answered:
“My precious brother, I love you and would never leave you during your suffering. When you saw only one pair of footprints in the sand, that was when I CARRIED YOU IN MY ARMS.

Here is another slightly different "original":

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed
he was walking along the beach with the LORD.

Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene he noticed two sets of
footprints in the sand: one belonging
to him, and the other to the LORD.

When the last scene of his life flashed before him,
he looked back at the footprints in the sand.

He noticed that many times along the path of
his life there was only one set of footprints.

He also noticed that it happened at the very
lowest and saddest times in his life.

This really bothered him and he
questioned the LORD about it:

"LORD, you said that once I decided to follow
you, you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most
troublesome times in my life,
there is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when
I needed you most you would leave me."

The LORD replied:

"My son, my precious child,
I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering,
when you see only one set of footprints,
it was then that I carried you."
