Conceptualized by DJ Zaki Lais, the Muak name represents the bringing of people together. It is from this idea, Zaki developed a night that channels over 15 years of experience in the underground dance scene in London. Zaki was a founding member of early pirate radio station Risk and Flava FM and played an instrumental part in pioneering the deep house sound on Touch FM. Held bi-monthly on a Saturday night at the respected East London venue of the Rhythm Factory, Muak provides the only opportunity to hear the DJs together alongside both new talent and some of the most respected names on the international deep house scene. Since its inception in November 2003, The Muak family has grown from its humble begennings to become established as one of the most respected events of its kind on the deep house scene, creating a deep house music experience that is uniquely Muak - People Together.
