там есть еще end carriage - ходовая тележка.
Или такое обилие тележек и должно быть в мостовых кранах?

Да, тележка там не одна. Сам кран ездит вдоль, а внутри него что-то должно ездить и поперек.

trolley wheel load - нагрузка (токосъемного) ролика на троллей, далее говорится о необходимости ограничения напряжения (механического) в рельсе/балке/швеллере троллея.

Там, кстати, м.б. и токосъемная тележка (carriage), ну а trolley - это троллей, тут двух мнений быть не может :))
