Recommendation letter

Ms. Tatiana Chumakova has been working as a candidate for a degree at the department of International Law at Saint-Petersburg State University since 2003 till now. She specializes in studying the process of unification and harmonization of European law. Her proficiency and knowledge of material are of very high level, which can be proved by Ms. Chumakova's publications in science journals and collected works, representing main theses and results of her researches.
Ms. Tatiana Chumakova may be characterised as well-disciplined and hard-working candidate for a degree. Her research is completed this autumn, 2 years before the approximate target date. To say more Ms. Tatiana Chumakova got excellent marks for her both qualifications examinations. It's of no doubt that she has got very good grounding in common law and international law, including special knowledge in domain of European Human Rights Law, and in comparative law as well. She also takes a tender interest in academic and pedagogical activities and in defending human rights.
Ms. Tatiana Chumakova has gained all the necessary skills and creative capacity for the successful fulfillment of the research planned.
Since great amount of materials, legal and academic resources, generalized and analysed by Ms. Chumakova is written in English, and the working language of the conferences held at the department of International Law is English only, her language proficiency is by all means sufficient for conducting fruitful research in The United Kingdom.
Consider the research claimed by Ms. Chumakova be a success.

Head of the International Law Department at the faculty of Law
Saint Petersburg State University
Ivanenko V.S., Professor.

"generalized and analysed" и т.п.
-ze по-американски, -se по-британски
лучше привести к одному знаменателю, в данном случае британскому

Tatiana Chumakova has been studying as a candidate for a (scientific?) degree at the department of International Law at Saint-Petersburg State University since 2003. She focuses/concentrates on the process of unification and harmonisation of European law. Her proficiency and knowledge in this field are of very high level, which can be proved by Chumakova's publications in the scientific journals and collected papers (этом не непонятно), representing main theses and results of her research.

Chumakova is a well-disciplined and hard-working candidate for a degree. Her research will be completed this autumn, 2 years before the approximate target date. To say more Chumakova got excellent marks for her both qualifications examinations. I have no doubt that she has got very good grounds in common law and international law, including special knowledge in the domain of European Human Rights Law, and in comparative law as well. She also shows interest in academic and teacher training activities and in the defending of human rights.

Chumakova has gained all the reasonably required skills and creative capacity for successful fulfilment of the research planned.

Since the great amount of materials, legal, and academic resources, generalised and analysed by had been written in English, and the working language of the conferences held at the department of International Law is English only, her language proficiency is, by all means, sufficient for conducting fruitful research in the United Kingdom.

Consider the research claimed by Chumakova be a success (это вообще мене непонятно).

Professor V.S.Ivanenko,

Head of the International Law Department of the Law Faculty,
Saint-Petersburg State University
