The oxygen level being a critical factor with the « free radical » silicone curing, the curing room must restrict to the maximum the contribution in surrounding air and minimize the nitrogen losses. In order to achieve these goals, this room is equipped with several seals limiting the leakage (entering or outgoing). The nitrogen control inside the room is managed using several tubes

The ETI « free radical » silicone UV curing system is developed with an aim of obtaining a power of 600w/in (240W/cm) and of causing a strong emergence in UV-C ray (230-280nm). In order to support the heat generated by this system, a cooling network in three points is incorporated in the design of the curing chamber.

The control panel of the nitrogen flows and pressures takes its importance in production mode since it allows an accurate verification of the nitrogen consumption as well as a better silicone UV curing control. The approximate nitrogen consumption for a 13 inches (330 mm) system is approximately 2,900 ft ³/hr (382 m³/hr) with pressure and ambient temperature. The operation pressure being of 80psi ( 5,5 bars), it is adapted to envisage a supply network at 200psi ( 14 bars).

The oxygen analyzer used inside the ETI system functions in relation with the PLC (programmable logical controller) of the machine. It enables us to stop the machine in an automatic manner in the case where the actual oxygen rate would be higher than 50ppm.

The addition of a corona treatment system in line is recommended since it helps the formation of certain molecule and radicals free supporting the adherence of silicone to the substrate. Moreover, the treated materials obtaining a tension surface superior with 42 mN/m create a better silicone distribution, therefore a more uniform release.

Вроде содержание кислорода проходит по конткесту
rate у них наверно потому, что изначально там вообще нет кислорода, а потом он начинает просачиваться снаружи через течи
