Subject: Off: Computer Translation ling. A friend of mine is looking for software that could make rough-draft translations of marketing material EN-RU. He understands the quality limitations of these programs but still says he needs one. Any recommendations? Anyone had experience with Prompt?Thanks a bunch. |

Well, PROMPT is one of a fineые program of its kind, and can be so-so tuned even for such a sensitive matter as simple marketing writings. Probably it's the best MT software to be used with Russian texts. But the tuning-up itself would be quite a piece of job! :-))) Hiring a native Russian translator with a bit of brains in his head could produce a much better deal. |
