Между direct contact и indirect contact

Контекст:

The equipotential protection circuit consists of all grounding connections that, if properly connected to the factory’s earthing system, provide protection against indirect contacts of operators. Contacts with an electric circuit are, by convention, of two types: direct and indirect.
The contact with a part of the system “normally” energized such as, for example, a conductor, a terminal, the connection of a lamp, a fuse etc. is a direct contact. A contact with a part of the plant “normally” non-energized such as, for example, the casing of a motor, that has taken “by accident” an hazardous voltage following an insulation failure, is an indirect contact.

"Прямой" контакт - прикосновение к детали, на которую "нормально" подается напряжение.

"Непрямой" контакт - прикосновение к детали, на которой напряжения быть не должно, но оно возникло в результате, например, повреждения изоляции.

Заземление помогает только во втором случае, т.к. позволяет устранить напряжение только с деталей, на которых его быть не должно.
