Подскажите, пожалуйста, что это за абревиатура такая MAT? Она попалась в следующих двух предложениях:
Rum dominates the UK market with MAT sales of 13m litres to January 2005. And yet sales are static – up just 1% in volume and value while dark rums continue their decline, losing 1% in volume and 2% in value over the same MAT period above.

moving annual total

Figure which expresses the financial or quantitative value of a variable in a period of twelve months. This variable could be turnover, production, demand, etc. Each month the figure for the new month is added to the moving annual total (MAT), while at the same time the figure for the first month out of the formerly twelve is subtracted.
