Пожалуйста, помогите перевести.
Учет по статьям баланса осуществлялся по первоначальной (остаточной) стоимости.
Это из примечаний к отчету.

Так по первоначальной или по остаточной? По-моему, есть разница. :-)

assets were carried on/in the balance sheet at cost (residual value)

assets were recorded/recognized in the balance sheet at cost

balance sheet items were accounted for/reported at cost

the amount stated in the balance sheet in respect of any item was its historical cost

all the balance sheet items were treated/recorded under the historical cost accounting principles

the historical cost principle was applied to/in accounting for balance sheet items

там в оригинале написано так "по первоначальной (остаточной)стоимости"

Ну, тогда приписывайте в скобках residual value
