Подскажите, пожалуйста, я правильно понимаю, что product-specific waiver - это освобождение от предоставления плана педиатрических исследований конкретного препарата?

Product-specific waiver 

An exemption from the obligation to acquire data, through a paediatric investigation plan, in some or all subsets of the paediatric population for a given condition, route of administration and pharmaceutical form of a specified medicine. Product-specific waivers are adopted by the Paediatric Committee (PDCO).

The European Medicines Agency (EMA) maintains a list of class waivers for medicines that are not required to submit a paediatric investigation plan (PIP) as part of a marketing authorisation application. These medicines are likely unsafe or ineffective in children, lack benefit for children or are for diseases and conditions that only affect the adult population. The requirement to submit a PIP is waived for specific medicines or classes of medicines that: are likely to be ineffective or unsafe in part or all of the paediatric population; are intended for conditions that occur only in adult populations; do not represent a significant therapeutic benefit over existing treatments for paediatric patients.

Задала вопрос здесь, потому что кто-то, возможно, сталкивался с этим.

Вот во втором случае напрямую написано, что освобождает от подачи PIP. А в первом случае "освобождает от сбора данных с помощью PIP" Это в принципе одно и то же, поскольку PIP и есть сбор и предоставление данных, но написано по-разному, и если хотите соблюдать максимальную приближенность, то и вам надо по-разному написать. В первом переводе вы просто перепрыгнули к итогу "освобождение от предоставления плана", хотя там написано, что освобождается от "obligation to acquire data". А так ясно, что если не надо собирать данные, то и PIP подавать не надо. Или наоборот, если PIP подавать не надо, то и данные собирать не стоит.
