Скорее, XXX была в надлежащем порядке присуждена степень.

Поскольку этих магистров много (proof: https://www.topuniversities.com/blog/types-masters-degrees) , в дипломе я бы писала магистр/доктор философии в области технических наук, чтобы сие не смешать с Doctor/Master of Sciences, оставляя для пущей верности английский вариант в скобках. От философии не позволяет избавиться и наличие Master of Research (если бы его не было, можно было бы выкрутиться как-нибудь с исследовательской деятельностью). В байо писала бы без философии, но с английским с скобках.

Про смешанную реальность ничего не знаю, но линк ( https://minerva-access.unimelb.edu.au/handle/11343/231015) говорит,  это какое-то изучение пользовательских требований к приложениям для бега с дополненной реальностью

You don't normally 'admit s.o. to the degree of (sth)', although you can admit them to a degree course in [not 'of'] (a subject - eg Geography).

Examples:

* 'He has a degree in Applied Economics'.

* 'She's studying for a PhD in Modern Languages'.

If it's talking about the awarding of a degree to s.o. -- the ceremony/process which takes place after the person has passed their exams at the end of the course -- you wouldn't normally use the verb 'to admit' here; you'd use some other construction.

So, assuming that you're translating from En to Ru, what exactly comes after "to the degree of ......" in the original?

Also, 'to certify, that' should read simply 'to certify that' -- there's no comma required before 'that' here, unlike Russian.

The above make me suspect that the English has been written by someone with an imperfect knowledge of the language.
