Перевожу фрагменты для отчетности по МСФО. Не очень получается перевод некоторых выражений.

Оригинал: Dividend distribution is recognized as a liability in the financial statements in the year in which the dividends are appropriately authorized and are no longer at the discretion of the Company.

Трудности вызывает вторая часть предложения. У меня получилось: …в том году, в котором было дано надлежащее разрешение на их выплату и Компания утратила возможность ими распоряжаться.

Буду благодарна за исправления.

"are    no longer at the discretion of the Company" - имхо, речь про то, что дивиденд уже выплачены см. на тему

".. Дивиденды отражаются в балансе лишь в том случае, когда они начислялись и выплачивались в течение года...."
