You have to be careful with 'subject', as it can also mean 'дело'/'тема', of course. So, assuming that that 'объект' here refers to a person, to avoid any ambiguity I would put something like: 'the (person/individual) who (is/was) the subject of the investigation' |

PS: I focused on section II instead of section I. As the line underneath 'I. Объект исследования:' makes it clear that it's a person, 'I. Subject of investigation:' is fine. |
