Поискала по местным темам, "side-by-side comparison" переводят как "параллельное сравнение". Нашла также вариант "уровень, полученный параллельным сравнением". Но мне кажется, что из такого перевода не очень ясно, что за параллельное сравнение. Заранее спасибо!
