Помогите, пожалуйста, перевести понятие particle performance в следующем контексте стандарта по магнитопорошковой дефектоскопии:

Пункт "Permanently magnetized discs": Cracks in permanently magnetized disks provide the flux leakage requried for magnetic particle indications. Observation of the intensity and brightness of indication allow a comparison or evaluation of particle performance. Fig.XX illustrates crackes that have been formed in the disk.

А также particle evaluation:

The equipment requirements, test condition and testing procedures for particle evaluation should be established and documented to the extent required in order to provide a standardized evaluation. The requirements may cover such things as UV-A distance and illumination requirements, visible light requirements, particle applicator and application procedure, the ue of contrast backgrounds, removal of excess particle and method of documenting results.
