Subject: Инструкция к посудомоечной машине gen.
Доброго времени суток!
Есть сомнения по поводу следующих фраз:
- second basket switch - Rinsing is activated by a second basket switch (второй переключатель корзины?);
- separation cloaks - Open the machine’s lid.Check if there is motor filter, field strainer, separation cloaks and washing handles.Then close the machine’s lid.

Не "second basket switch", а "а second basket switch".
Функция ополаскивания запускается повторным переключением [на режим обработки содержимого].
и разделительные шторки на месте

a second basket switch isn't well-written and the meaning isn't clear without seeing a diagram of the machine. The author may possibly have intended to say something like....

* 'by pressing the second basket switch'??? or possibly....
* 'by pressing the basket switch a second time'??? or possibly....
* 'by switching [=swapping] the baskets around again'??? (although this seems a strange way to use a dishwasher) or....
* something else.

The above are all wild guesses, though.

The English in the passage generally looks slightly strange. For example,

* Lids are always on the top; if it's at the front/on the sides, it's simply a 'door'. All of the dishwashers I've ever seen have had a door/doors on the front, not a lid on the top.
* Check if there is a, b, c, d and e -- 'is' should read 'are'. In any case, 'Check if there is/are a, b, c, d and e' with nothing after it, is poor English.
* field strainer -- what's this?!?
* washing handles also looks suspect. '(washing) basket handles'???

Overall it looks like a poor translation into English. Is it a Chinese dishwasher...?

johnstephenson, Turkey dishwasher.

Why would anyone want to put a turkey in a dishwasher? :-)

Seriously, it could be a poor Turkish-English translation.

nice work, John! the colors are bursting on your picture. the dead-center placement of the subject could be considered somewhat weak, but your use of natural framing does enough to compensate for it. well done, sir!

"All my own work"! Actually I just looked up 'turkey' and 'dishwasher' in Google Images, not expecting to find anything, and there it was -- from an article in the Daily Mail! A 'gift'. I wanted to get that joke in before you did!

There may be pets in the house. Just to keep it away from them until the roasting time. Outdoors - same sh.. (problem).
