я бы все же не так сказал, ибо "lack of parallelism and misalignment" (тем более без запятой) читается как:
"отсутствие параллельности И НЕсоосности"

а отсутствие несоосности - не проблема имхо, а наоборот.

то есть правильнее было бы:
lack of parallelism and alignment или
misalignment and lack of parallelism
