By the end of the pdf publication devoted to the Indian Ganga river basin management it was indicated that KODS – Khidirpur Old Dock Sill (page 26, section "Notations and Abbreviations”) and on the next page the different spellings of this Indian location like: (§) 32. Kidderpore – Khidirpur – Khidirpore.
From the Wikipedia it's been known that "the level of the sill of its entrance is used in and around Liverpool as a height datum called Old Dock Sill or ODS".
Thus, combining these two pieces of information there might be formulated the definition of K.O.D.S. like "it is the level of the sill of its entrance in and around Khidirpur, or the height datum ODS within Khidirpur (India)."
