that does not matter. (nothing matters, really.)
she just needs a russian equivalent that she can plug into the rest of the sentence after she translates it ... however she translates it.
simple as that!

It does matter, because if the English is very poor (and it looks slightly strange to me), that means that, instead of simply finding the correct Russian equivalent of a difficult English term, she's having to deal with a source that's part-gibberish. That in turn means that instead of simply translating it, she'll need to second-guess what the author may have INTENDED to write in the English -- which is a quite different task.

You can't 'just' find a Russian equivalent of an English term if it (the English) doesn't make sense.
