in terms of age, age-wise, ------ и другие варианты |
regarding age groups |
As far as age is concerned, kids younger than six months get sick more frequently |
Be careful with 'get sick".
It is only implied. |

Анна Ф is spot on. Native level quality of translation. Other phrasings are just awkward and unnatural. BUT: Truth be told, I would've deleted 'As far as age is concerned' as a redundancy. |
I agree that we say "kids" but we should write "children". Thanks. |

Amor 71, "gets sick" is just fine. Nothing terribly wrong with it. Whatever. Betelka, you can use more formal idioms if you like: You really should not waste time on things like that if you already have a native level translation. What's the point? It is not a poem and you don't need to make it rhyme. |
"...children under six years of age..." |

Amor 71, with all due respect I think this general statement about children being at a higher risk of becoming ill is correct, because young children, esp. under 6 months of age, are far more susceptible to various viruses and infections than adults are. |
sorry for the error, should be "...children under six months of age..." |
