Так же не понятно , почему человек пишет " peasents" , а не " peasants", ошибся или это другое совсем слово ?

Замок скорее отгораживал их от крестьян, чем защищал от врагов. Про peasent почитайте сами. Возможно, такой спеллинг использован, чтобы подчеркнуть презрительное к ним отношение.
