И все таки мне интересно, что такое dry angle distance. Помогите, пожалуйста.
Контекст: The blade to nip distance is function of the speed of the press and the type of solvent used. The diameter of the cylinder also influences it.
It will be farther from the nipping point when the press operates at fast speeds than at slow press speeds. The slower the speed, the more time that is required to cover the dry angle distance, and if it is too long, the ink in the cells may begin to evaporate. This condition is referred to as drying in, and it causes the dots of ink to remain in their gravure pattern.

И всё-таки, как и в первый раз, очень советую справиться у самого верного источника — в книжке, отобранной у технолога, и желательно год за 1980. И поделиться с сообществом найденным В НЕЙ.
Технология древняя, терминология устоялась, гадать в таком случае — козлость. Можно увидеть десяток таких схем (помнится, я кому-то даже русскоязычные ссылки давал), но термины по глубокой печати нужно брать из серьёзных источников, а не выдумывать.
