What does ACR expedited TTAB proceeding mean? It allows the parties to accelerate the proceeding usually through limiting the issues presented, the length of the discovery period and the number of witnesses presented. We generally do not like to participate in an ACR proceeding, particularly as a defendant. We find that it tends to benefit the opposer.
