Subject: Prognostic and predictive, enrichment strategy gen.
Речь идет о клиническом испытании:

1. The approach towards the analyses followed the principles of prognostic and predictive enrichment outlined in the current draft guidance of FDA regarding enrichment strategies for clinical trials

2. The clinical biomarker had to be both prognostic and predictive (как на русском языке отразить различия в этих терминах в данном контексте, которые, на 1-й взгляд, могут показаться синонимами?)

... (ii) prognostic enrichment, i.e., finding patients who are likely to have the event of interest when enrolling for risk-reduction studies,
and (iii) predictive enrichment, i.e., finding the individuals who are more likely to respond.

Prognostic enrichment involves choosing patients for a study who will have the disease manifestations the drug is intended to prevent. For example, a study of a lipid-lowering drug intended to decrease the rate of heart attacks might choose a population likely to have an increased risk of heart attacks, such as being diabetic. Choosing patients of that kind makes it more possible to see an effect if there is one.

Predictive enrichment is particularly exciting and involves use of some aspect of the patient’s physiology, genetics or past responses to identify patients who can respond to the treatment.

Cпасибо за отклики, на английском-то понятно, но как это сформулировать кратко по русски?
