Could anyone please help to understand what is the meaning of the word 'lifted' in the following context (the sentence is taken from the correspondence regarding loan agreement): In case the guarantee is lifted and the company sells assets in foreign currency, can it fulfill its obligations?

Я поначалу так и предпологала, но как-то нелогично получается... А вот из статьи по Вашему линку похоже, что все просто: lift=increase.

иногда говорят про "subs lifted"
:
то есть "subjects lifted"

это когда какой-то пункт обсуждаемого договора ставится в зависимость от выполнения другого пункта по какой-то причине / условия (например, subject to charterers' approval to be given by tomorrow 11am local time или owners confirm that the vessel is fully insured)

Если это условие выполняется, то говорят, что sub(ject) is lifted

Может быть в данном случае кто-то как раз решил вопрос со страховкой положительно?
