Subject: 'windowing' of content gen.
Media professionals can for example produce news content which then can be published through a variety of communication channels - so- called 'windowing' of content (see this argument already offered in Fulton, 1996).

Может кто-то подскажет что такое 'windowing' of content. А то не совсем понятно...

Беглое гугление выдает такой результат :)

For those not familiar with the term, windowing is industry jargon which refers to media companies deciding to delay the release of content. Whether the content is simply not sold into a particular market (Australia, for example), or is delayed in one form (a song might not be available on Spotify months after it is released), windowing is a tool which some in media companies use to try to boost income.

Ну или здесь более официальным языком:
One of the defining characteristics of the economics and strategy of media industries is the centrality of the process of windowing. Windowing refers to media industries’ usage of time and technology to sell and resell their products over time via various distribution platforms. For example, the motion picture industry has windowed its products perhaps better than any other sector of the media industry, using theaters, home video, cable, broadcast, and increasingly, the Internet, as windows for monetizing their products, with some films earning significant revenues decades after their initial release.
