Я не совсем понимаю, что значит "guest-edited" в контексте
In addition to publishing regular reviews and clinical drug trail studies, the journal also publishes full-length or mini- ‘Hot Topic’ thematic issues that are guest-edited by leading scientists in their areas of research emphasis.

То есть это что-то, что редактируется гостями? Приглашенными специалистами? Как это вообще перевести можно в смысле по-русски и адекватно?
