These are questions from people at the media athlets(?office?). They gave me those questions that I see guys.
- Are these Cary’s questions? Hyber’s questions?
- No. Taison just sent me a list of like everyone in your office put these together when you … gonna be have you guys here(?). I think most of them are from Graham. See guys what I much worry about.
- Haha
- 0:24 For Bailey (Belly) Sailor (Sedan?) Homber. What does one ??own…. Sailor?
- Yep.
- Ok, the 1st question, how do they approach the off-season so I would change it into ‘How do you guys approach the off-season’?
- ah
- Is there an off-season?
Header: Training in off-season
-I think there’s an off-season but … I don know… I had it engraved in my head by some coaches in the past… that champions are made in the off-season. So I still put in a lot of work it’s definitely dialed back… a little bit… just the volume. But.. or focus on more.. just different segments of the training.. So trying to get stronger. .. trying to get my… you know… just strength numbers up more in the off-season . And then as it progresses just kinda dial on up the volume a little bit down at the intensity. and getting a lil’ more specific just to cross with in general so… the strength rowing with the strength(straight?) rullying (running) will come down, - those kinda things… as the year progresses.
- So basically there’s nothing fancy you are saying. You just start slow and work up to a peak and take it against?
- yeah it’s kind of the goal.
- repeat next to it.
- I’m trying to make I a little more… I dunno .. fancy it... if that’s the word for… I’m not just you know taking everything I did last year on a spreadsheet and kinda look what that intensity was and how was defined and then kinda work from there but I’m not really very apt with get to know that information put-in but.. you know I’ll just take some time.
- So the off-season is time to work hard and get ready for the games?
- Partially it’s a little bit of both. I don’t know. It’s one of these things where in the off-season there would definitely be... first the days when I’m really feeling crappy I have something else you know on my plate just in another part of life I guess then I’ll go take care of that – in the off-season and not really think twice about it. You know? But when it’s Game time the season it’s like “No, this is just what you need to be doing!”.

- Every year the games are changing, Miko?
- Yep.
- And em when is the off-season?
- I don’t think there is an off-season. Like I believe that you should not give too much like loose to yourself. Like getting your condition on a strength number scale too low. But I think
- after the Games when you are recovered from the Games and training for that you should like train that way that you prepare yourself for the game season like you can train like harder. For me like … I focused on my weaknesses doing a bit different kinda strength training but still like I believe that you should be like 85-90 per cent of like your maximum results all the time. So if you like go too down like give yourself too much free time and … like that … so in my opinion that’s not the way to do it. I believe you can be like pretty close to your peak all the time but not like peaking . Everything is focused on peaking at the games but it’s just preparing for that. Training at before the Games.

- 3:54 Looking back on it now probably… like I would say at the Games, getting ready for the Games, after the regional… everything… I probably did get a little bit too much… you know... didn’t get myself enough... enough rest for that weekend but… I mean Graham he said he’s spent a lot of time I wanna say relaxing but just kinda dial back so he’s pr… pretty mentally fresh going in the spring and then in the summer, so he can really turn it up a notch. I think, you know first last year forth this year… I think they posted?? that nobody is... he’s finished higher his second year than any of the other previous champions. So in other then his training strategy is of phenomena athlete’s. So, there is that, too.

- 4:44 I believe depends on like… it depends on people like. That suits for someone, somebody like me I wanna train throughout the year pretty hard. Of course I have to be likewise with my training, so now I’m planning to hit pretty hard. Like doing steel different kind of stuff but at the Christmas time give myself loose like one week and then start again over so. I believe that’s good for me. And what Graham did it obviously was a good thing. He was really really in good shape at the games. So it depends on people, it depends on persons’ abilities to train at.

5:32 - But the same thing like you’re saying I mean if you know the in like this the on-season for whatever you want to…. You wanna be what (do that??) to have this kinda effort (app?) you wanna do this number of workouts, you want have this many sessions… you can’t just go from doing 1 workout a day to 4. I gather that’s a good idea.  you know. It has to kind of build on itself the whole way through so that you have all the prep periods that your body can come to handle. All this. I mean if you look at a lot of Olympic runners, skaters , anything like that… they spend a lot of time in the off-season still doing you know crazy workouts just because wanna be wanna get to those points and to compete they gonna want to do more than anybody else and do workouts like “take-it-to-the-level” so to speak. And that does not happen in just a month, you know. Takes a lot of… a lot of time to…build in the way they think

Наврала немного. Создал Грег Глаасман, а Rengo помог вычислить Грэхема Холмберга из той же компании.
