In general the EPC Contractor shall indicate interface points in his general layout drawing.
Owner and owner’s engineer will coordinate these with the respective companies to get them
confirmed. 5.1. Power evacuation
The 220kV HV switchyard shall be designed as conventional air insulated double bus bar
switching station in one section for totally 6 bays, one bus-bar coupling feeder, three incoming
feeders from step-up transformers and two line outgoing feeders (OHTL, 2x100%).
The grid interconnection point shall be the HV-gantry of the switchyard. 5.2. Raw Water Intake/Outfall
River water for cooling and other purposes of the CHPP will be extracted from the existing
sedimentation pond belonging to Acelor Mittal premises by means of intake water pumps
mounted on a floating pontoon. Location of the pontoon will be at the southern part of the
sedimentation pond adjacent to the northern fence of the CHPP site. Interface point will be at
the intake pipe inlet screening facility below the pontoon structure.
