Как правильно перевести full-size units? по тексту встречается очень часто. Чувствую это что-то вроде - необработанная плазма/цельная кровь??

varism - да я думала про этот перевод, но встал вопрос - а зачем тога проводить обработку? хотя конечно может для вирусной инактивации и пр.

IF I MAY HAZARD A GUESS, perhaps "full size" refers to amount of blood per unit of storage (bag, test tube, etc.) ? A paediatric unit would obviously be smaller than a standard adult-size, or full size, unit as a child typically needs less blood for transfusion than an adult. Not sure about a crio unit though, perhapsbags have to be a particular size to fascilitate safe freezing and defrosting?

Unit - "доза" = гемокон.

Это у нас оперируют объемом "перелито 600 мл крови, 300 мл СЗП...".
Там - указывают в "units".

No sorry i was totally wrong. While a unit of blood (or blood components) does equal 1 bag, your examples are probably those of treated/ prepared blood. Cryo is apparently typically concentrated, paediatric requires the use of specific additives that are less likely to cause an adverse reaction in a child. Sorry can't post a link (my phone is ancient) but if you go to psbc.org and click on"blood components" and then on cryo or "concerns for paediatric transfusions" or whatever its called you'll be able to read more.
A full size unit then probably IS some sort of whole blood, not sure exactly how and whether it's treated though.

Alex_Krotevich - спасибо за пояснение, но вот как все же правильно на русском сформулировать full-size? гемокон это все же контейнер для хранения...

rebelpants - дело в том что по тексту речь идет о СЗП, а не о цельной крови и вот как-бы лучше вставить эту фразу к плазме т.к. она не может быть цельной.
