Слово по теме катодной антикоррозионной защиты, которая используется в судостроении. Что из себя представляет это слово я понимаю, но нужно перевести на русский язык. Помогите пожалуйста!

Pitguard anodes have a very special purpose. Corrosion in the bottom of the tanks will often be in the form of pitting, due to the water phase always present at the bottom of the tanks. Pitguard anodes are clamped on one side, for easy installation on the deck of the tank through the rat holes. This easy installation allows the anodes to be fitted close to the pitting problems as they arise and can be carried out by the crew when required. Installation costs are therefore eliminated.

guard - против, а анод и так понятен. Устройства анодной защиты от питтинговой коррозии.
