Subject: prorated by gen. Notwithstanding the provisions of subsections 1 and 2 to the contrary, a license for an establishment to operate interactive gaming may be issued after January 1 of a calendar year for a period beginning on the date of issuance of the license and ending on the second December 31 following the date of issuance of the license. Before issuing an initial license pursuant to this subsection, the Commission shall charge and collect from the establishment a license fee of $500,000 prorated by 1/24 for each full month between January 1 of the calendar year and the date of issuance of the license.
Все понятно в тексте, кроме того как передать часть ...prorated by 1/24... Имеется в виду что вообще-то лицензия выдается на 2 года с 1 января по 31 декабря следующего, но можно выдать и в другой месяц, только сбор рассчитывается по-другому - от полной стоимости 500 000 вычитается то количество 1/24 долей, сколько полных месяцев прошло с 1 января до дня выдачи лицензии. Так? Но это общий смысл, а близко к тексту не могу передать, или это prorated неправильно поняла?
