Industrial Mixed Bed

Industries like Pharmaceuticals, Medium and High Pressure Boilers, Power generation by Steam, Turbines, Electronics industries are required extremely pure quality of water. The
MIXED BED is the answer where the Two Bed DM plant is used prior to Mixed Bed.

The mixed bed mixture of Cation and Anion resins form infinite numbers of demineralising
stages through which DM water passing and thus removing the traces of minerals i.e. slippage (<5 ppm) from DM plant. By this method demineralised water of extremely pure quality is achieved, which cannot be otherwide obtained by any commercial production methods.

The mixed resins are separated by means of backwash, as the anion resin's specific gravity is lower than Cation resin. The separated bed is then regenerated with Acid and alkali solution, which passes through the Cation and Anion bed, via specially designed distribution and collecting systems. After the regeneration with the help of compressed Air both Cation and Anion resins are re-mixed.

Да, INkJet, походу там все та же водоочистка. Я тоже на нефтегаз смотрел аскеров и обздался по началу.

Mixed Bed Demineralized Water System
This system receives feed water and then pumps it into the Multi-media Filters and the Activated Carbon Filters through Feed Water pumps; each rated at 66 gpm max at 50psig (15m3/hr @ 3.5 barg). The water then enters the Multi-media Filters and the Activated Carbon Filters. Each filter is rated for a service flow rate of 66gpm (15m3/hr) and a backwash flow rate of 66gpm (15m3/hr).
The water then enters the Strong Acid Cations each rated for Service flow of 66 gpm (15m3/hr). These units remove Cationic ions from the water. Then the water enters through the Strong Base Anions. Again, these are rated for 66 gpm (15m3/hr) flow rate each. The Strong Base Anions remove Anions from the water stream.
The last equipment to process the water is the Mixed Bed units. These units contain both Anion and Cation resin mixed together. This mixed resin polishes the water, greatly reducing the conductivity level.
The feed pumps provide regeneration water to the regeneration skids. Three different regeneration skids are supplied with the plant. One Cation regeneration skid, one Anion regeneration skid and one mixed bed regeneration skid. They each provide the necessary amount of dilute chemical to the demineralization vessels to regenerate the resins contained inside. The mixed bed units also need mixing air. The compressed air is used during regeneration to remix the resin after it has been regenerated.

Высокую степень очистки можно обеспечить в одном аппарате со смесью катионита в Н-форме и анионита в ОН-форме, т.н. фильтре смешанного действия. В этом случае отсутствует противоионный эффект, и из воды за один проход через слой смеси ионитов извлекаются все находящиеся в растворе ионы. Очищенный раствор имеет нейтральное рН и низкое солесодержание, примерно в 5-10 раз ниже, чем на одной ступени ионного обмена. Допускается работа с очень высокими скоростями очистки раствора, зависящими от его исходного солесодержания.
