Помогите перевести описание технических характеристик gen.

Здравствуйте!
Перевожу руководство по эксплуатации для мультиплексора. В характеристиках источника питания указано следующее:
Maximum AC input power: 315W + power supplied for ring and feed voltage purpose.
Total output power: 250W + power supplied for ring and feed voltage purposes (drawn directly from external source).
Maximum input power:
315W + power supplied for ring and feed voltage purposes.
Не могу разобраться, что же здесь имеется ввиду под ring and feed voltage purposes, т.е в данных фрагментах перевести не могу часть начиная от + и далее...

Заранее спасибо за помощь!

... для того, чтобы перевести "ring and feed" надо сначала разобраться, что же здесь имеется ввиду под ring and feed voltage purposes... а иначе - никак ...

К большому сожалению, в документе мало сказано о том, что тут имеется ввиду... Вот еще несколько фрагментов, где встречаются данные выражения. На эту тему это вся информация, больше ничего нет...

When ISDN and/or analog voice modules are installed in the chassis, it may be necessary to supply feed and ring generation voltage: for this purpose, the power supply modules connect to an external ringer, for example, a Ringer-2200N/ISDN standalone unit offered by RAD.

Megaplex 4100 PS modules connect to an external feed and ring generation voltage source, for example the Ringer 2200N standalone unit offered by RAD. The connection is made as follows:
• AC powered PS modules have a separate connector for feed and ring voltage.
• DC powered modules derive the -48 VDC or +24 VDC feed voltage from the DC input voltage (in accordance with the nominal input voltage of the module). In addition, the power input connector also includes a +72 VDC input for ISDN modules, and for the ring voltage needed by some types of voice interface modules.

... Feed Voltage - это очевидно напряжение питания , а что такое Ring Voltage - надо читать и разбираться отдельно ...

Feed and Ring Voltage Sources
PS modules support the connection of an external feed and ring generation voltage

purpose, AC-powered PS modules have a separate connector for -48 VDC and
+72 VDC voltages; DC-powered modules derive the -48 VDC or -24 VDC feed
voltage from the DC input voltage, and the connection of an +72 VDC voltage is
made through the power input connector.
RAD offers the following options for providing the required feed and ring
generation voltages:
• Ringer-2100R module, a 4U-high double-width auxiliary module that can be
installed in any pair of adjacent I/O slots of the Megaplex-2100. This module
generates the required voltages and distributes them to the modules installed
in the chassis through an internal bus.
In addition, the same voltages are available on a front-panel output connector,
for connection to other units or direct connection to the DC feed and ring input
connectors located on various types of modules. The Ringer-2000R can be
ordered for operation on AC or DC.
• Standalone Ringer-2000 unit, intended for installation in 19” racks. Provides
10 outputs that can be connected by means of cables to the power supply
interface modules, or directly to the connectors located on modules that
require external ring and feed voltages.

То, что нужно искать информацию и разбираться что такое Ring Voltage и другие сопутствующие словосочетания и так ясно... Я задала вопрос на форуме, рассчитывая на то, что может на мысль кто-нибудь натолкнет верную.. )) Возможно, кто-то уже сталкивался с подобной тематикой.

... вряд ли... эта фигня встречается только у этих моделей ... больше в гуголе такого нет ... пожет быть ring - это прозванивать, типа ring out в смысле test a circuit for continuity... надо разбираться, иначе - никак ...
