Термин set-up level встречается при сборке различных деталей корпуса в качестве ориентира (часто вместе с продольной осью/диаметральной плоскостью корпуса).

Be sure to transfer the set-up level and hull centerline to all frames. However, the set-up level is not required for the transom.

On Frame 1 through 5, temporary cross spalls of 1’’*6’’ lumber or comparable members are clamped or secured at the set-up level to support the frames on the building form.

Use cross spalls lapping frames at the set-up level and clamped in place to secure frames to the set-up members. Brace the transom at the noted angle.
