Subject: information on vs. information about gen. Вопрос: в чем разница?

а если нет разницы, зачем платить больше |
хороший ответ, хоть под ламинат и на стенку: There is no difference in meaning, in my opinion. I would tend to use "about" with pronouns in most circumstances (i.e. I think "information about her" is more elegant than "information on her"). Apart from that, I don't distinguish between the two options. http://dict.leo.org/forum/viewUnsolvedquery.php?idThread=625006 |
