Нужно понять, что такое features тут, эту часть не понимаю вообще.
Оч. грубый черновик: измерения проводятся по линии, перпендикулярной линии выравнивания (механизма, станка) (задается отдельно). В случае отсутствия такой специально заданной "опорной линии", используются (для отсчета размеров) осевые линии машины.
