slab - это как бы толстый кусок (как сыра) A broad, flat, thick piece http://www.thefreedictionary.com/slab видимо, здесь имеется ввиду несколько листьев капусты вместе http://forum.lowcarber.org/archive/index.php/t-319701.html User B And I like a SLAB of CABBAGE for snacks. I can get three of my veggie servings a day this way! We are on the leading edge. User А I was just getting ready to put away some stuff from dinner. One of those things was a bag of salad. Sooo, anyway, I was munching some of it by hand right out of the bag when I remembered that as a kid I used to eat plain lettuce. I would take a piece of lettuce and salt it just a little and then eat it! (I also used to do that with raw potatoes, but we won't go there ;) ) So, I grabbed my salt shaker, sprinkled a little salt on a big piece of lettuce and popped it in my mouth..... took me right back to when I was kid! Well, it's not the same as potato chips, but it crunches in my mouth and the salt satisfies my need for something salty and crunchy. You might think it's weird, but give it a try! You just might like it! LOL
