Так вот, в части реальности, the guy был (как я потом на собственном опыте постиг) абсолютно прав. Но в части языка ... Он был настолько ... правилен (для ранних 1900-х), что просто ни в какое сравнение не шёл с детским писателем Джеком Лондоном. :-)
